Freddy was the type of person who thinks he is better than everyone else. He bragged about his muscles and his physical abilities. One day, his friend Carlos asked him if he wanted to play a game of padel together. “Okay, this should be easy,” Freddy said. The next day they met at the club. Carlos began to explain the rules of the game. Freddy said that wasn’t necessary, that they should just start now and not waste any more time on that nonsense. “Okay,” Carlos said, and he took position and served first. Freddy wanted to show his skills from his first hit. He hit the ball so hard that it shot violently across the court, collided with the wall at the end and rebounded even harder, straight at him. He didn’t dive away fast enough and the ball hit him full force right in the middle of his forehead. After giving him mouth-to-mouth resuscitation for five minutes, Carlos asked his friend if he was feeling okay. Freddy scrambled to his feet and asked Carlos if he had taken down the license plate number of the truck that had just hit him.
